Debris Burning Opens Back up

Fire officials with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Division of Fire, will lift the debris burning (outdoor burning) ban within the CS&KT boundary, effective at 0001 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025. If you already have a permit from earlier in the season, it is still valid, no need to apply for a new one.  You can apply for a permit at cskt.org/division-of-fire/

The Division of Fire would like to stress to the public the importance of fire safety while burning.  Make sure to check the weather and wind.  Have the proper equipment to complete your burn.
